Compactors are particularly useful when larger amounts of lighter materials are involved, and where it is difficult or impossible to get sufficient product or weight into a traditional open skip or open Ro-Ro container.
Compactors can be used for either general mixed wastes or recyclables such as paper, cardboard or plastics. The use of compactors could easily increase your bins load 3 fold.
Static Compactors
If you already have your own static compaction equipment, we can provide 30yd3 or 40yd3 compactor bins to suit. Usually found in larger commercial and industrial applications they are ideal for general mixed wastes and recyclables.
Portable Compactors
If you do not have a static compactor, but still feel compaction equipment could be beneficial to your operation, we can supply a portable alternative where the bin and the compactor are combined. This is ideal for the smaller businesses who may not have the room or volumes to justify static equipment.
Portable compactors are available in either 12yd3 or 30yd3 – all you need is a suitable hardstanding and a 3-phase power supply.
